A new pool is visible in the shred stream before the block containing it is assembled, and well before an RPC will answer a query about it. Shredstream forwards raw turbine shreds to your IP over UDP from top-of-turbine validators, so your bot sees the mint and the initial liquidity add at the earliest point they exist on the network.
Follow a wallet without polling for it.
Copy trading fails on latency and on gaps. Polling getSignaturesForAddress means you find out after the fact and miss anything that lands between calls. Jetstream streams the transactions you care about filtered server-side by account, so you receive a target wallet's activity as it happens, with lookup tables already resolved and fee payers already extracted.

Listing and launch detection is a filtering problem more than a speed problem, though it is both.
