Is there a free Solana RPC tier?
Yes. Start with 10 RPS and 1 TPS, community support and devnet gRPC access. Paid RPC plans start at $49/month for 50 RPS and scale up to 600 RPS on Pro. Requests are not billed against credits; plan rate limits apply.
How is OrbitFlare different from Helius, Triton, or QuickNode?
OrbitFlare combines Shredstream-optimized RPC, Yellowstone and Jetstream gRPC, raw UDP shred delivery and Apex transaction landing. Choose the service that fits your workload, compare capacity and support, and test from the region where your application runs.
What is Shredstream and why does it matter?
Shredstream forwards raw Solana shreds via UDP from top-of-turbine validators to your server. You control reconstruction and decoding, before the usual RPC processing stage. It suits latency-sensitive trading systems with their own data pipeline; most apps can start with RPC or managed gRPC.
Yellowstone vs Jetstream gRPC: which should I use?
Choose Yellowstone for complete execution details, including inner instructions and transaction metadata. Choose Jetstream for a focused transaction feed with optional v2 enrichment such as fee payer, program IDs and resolved addresses. Shared access starts at $500/month for one IP; dedicated gRPC starts at $1,800/month.
What is OrbitFlare Apex?
Apex is our Solana transaction landing service. It combines Shredstream-routed submission with Jito bundle support and stake-weighted QoS to maximize landing rate during congestion. Per-user TPS limits, IP-restricted API keys, regional endpoints, and full transaction analytics are surfaced from the Apex dashboard.
Where are OrbitFlare data centers?
11 regions total: 4 in the US (Ashburn VA, New York, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City), 5 in Europe (Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Dublin, Šiauliai), and 2 in Asia (Tokyo, Singapore). Shredstream has 8 orderable regions; Singapore is coming soon.
Does OrbitFlare support BNB Chain or Polygon?
Yes. OrbitFlare offers BNB Chain RPC and Polygon RPC alongside Solana. Plans on those chains scale from 25 RPS (Free) up to 1000 RPS (Performance) and include WebSockets, archival data, and full API coverage.
What's the SLA?
The 99.99% monthly uptime SLA covers eligible paid infrastructure plans. Free, trial and beta services are excluded. See the published SLA for coverage, exclusions and service credits.
How do I migrate from Helius, QuickNode, or Triton?
For standard Solana JSON-RPC, update your endpoint and credentials, then test your requests, subscriptions and rate limits. Check compatibility separately for provider-specific APIs and streaming clients. Do not assume vendor-specific APIs are drop-in replacements.
